ee VanLanen the third oldest child of Margaret and Dan Vanlanen has decided to run for office in his home town in Texas. Vanlanen tired of all the mismanaging of the city will run for a local city council seat.

VanLanen hopes to win the seat for the Dallas city council in the upcoming election. Few details are known about his political aspirations however he has said many times that if he were president things would be different.

Peg Vanlanen, mother of the candidate broke the news on Thursday of the campaign however she had no details of when the election is or his reasons for running for office.

VanLanen 40, is an engineer at Ignition Inc. at it's
Dallas Branch. Ignition Inc.  helps other companies with product design and identified new revenue possibilities. VanLanen has been with the company for 13 years and is happy in his work. The company offers a bio page on it's website and VanLanen has his history on there. He does not fail to
mention his Wisconsin background featuring his part time agricultural employment, and his older sister and brothers military involvement as well as his own time in the US Air Force. The Ignition bio page can be seen here.

FAT CLUB MEETING CANCELLED
The semi weekly meeting of "The Fat Club" was canceled this week due to a family gathering held the Sunday previous or Easter Sunday as it is known in religious circles. After a brief discussion with Eileen "Trixie" Sobieck The Kat decided that everyone had just seen each other at the holiday gathering and that another meeting was not necessary. Confusion over the cancellation met with several members either calling or showing up in person for the meeting. One member Mary "Doats" Meeuwsen expressed outrage over the cancellation without notification. Instructions to me before she left were to: "Tell Kat how pissed I am that she didn't call me about the cancellation." That's all the news that is news, see ya.
