CLEEN DICK HOST POST GOLF PARTY
A katandmick photo
Colleen and Dick Poquette prepare to welcome guests to the after party
leen and Dick Poquette have stepped up to the plate and offered their stately Hobart complex to tired golfers for food and relaxation after the Poquette Family Golf Outing.

The Poquette Family Golf Outing formerly known as "The Prevost Open" has completely changed venue this year. For the past two years the outing was held at the Royal Scot Golf Course in New Franken with a get together at the Prevost Mansion after located on the back nine of the course. This years outing has been located at Highland Ridge Golf Course, closer to the Poquette Family homestead in rural De Pere.

Judy Treml, the youngest member of the Poquette family early on in the planning process suggested
half heartedly that the after party be held at their plush far west side Green Bay home. Her plan was to have the gathering by their newly created lake, but she stipulated that the party could only be held if the project had been completed. Treml never followed through on her plan and failed to
Judy Treml
notify the after party planning committee of her withdrawal of the offer. Treml says "no one can walk on the new seeding around the lake for six weeks" and having a party now would be out of the question.

Hearing of the lack of a site to hold the gathering, Dick Poquette graciously volunteered his historic Hobart complex for the event. The complex, located
on the original Poquette homestead on Florist Drive in Hobart is familiar to all the Poquette family and is the location they all called home at one time. Cleen Poquette suggested that everyone bring a dish to pass and the beverage of their choice while her and Richard are going to supply the meat and buns for the meal.

The sprawling complex located next to the renown Poquette Field has plenty of area for outdoor gatherings and should the weather turn foul several storage and shop buildings can easily be converted
to an area for seating with wide spaced doors for added viewing enhancement of the surrounding acreage. Poquette
originally offered his complex for the party, but the offer was dismissed when Treml vied for the event taunting party planners with the notion of a lake where overheated golfers could take a cool dip after a grueling competition, and children could play unbounded. The location close to the homes of many of the golfers and near the course itself should prove to be a big hit with those attending. Tee time for the event is 1PM and you can register below if you have not yet done so and wish to participate.

SOBIECK PROMOTED
Logan Sobieck, former golf pro and head of the Oneida Posse has been promoted to foreman at his job in Gillette, Wyoming. Sobieck a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute works in pipeline construction related to utilities. Natural gas pipe is what he has been working on and has been given two men to supervise. Sobieck was awarded the job after he recently dug up and ripped open a live line with a backhoe and caused a leak. No one was injured and the leak was quickly controlled by Sobieck.

That's all the news that is news, see ya.
