PREVOST OPEN CANCELED
he third annual Prevost open will not happen, and the throngs who turned out to golf and or party after are left wandering in the desert like so many sheep escaped from an overturned truck.

News of the cancellation came from Eileen "Trixie" Sobieck who had spoken to Shephonia Prevost earlier in the week. According to Sobieck, Prevost told her that they would no longer host the golf outing. Although no reason was given one can only assume that the event generated too much work for the trendy New Franken couple, and with the summer months approaching Prevost and her offspring "Bailey" are traveling the nation in baseball tournaments.

Another mitigating factor in the decision may stem from the poor media reviews the first year of the open. Turnout to the event the first year was beyond expectations and food and refreshment supplies grew scarce for those attending the after party later. Along with the catering complications organization of the competition seemed to have left participants

wanting more. An unnamed source tells the KAMR that Rick Prevost  upset by the media coverage suggested that the event be canceled after the first year and at first refused to make the suggested changes and improvements needed to make the Open the success it turned out to be the second year.
According to reports from "The Fat Club" meeting, attempts to acquire tee times for another try at a golf outing on August 11 will be made by drifter, Alex Pickett. Pickett, a member at Highland Ridge Golf Club suggested he could set up an outing but would be unable to host an "after party" due to his lack of a permanent residence. Pickett's parents Michael and Kathy are currently providing shelter for him but declined to offer their residence for an "after party" citing the critical media reports the Prevosts got their first year. Not wanting to be put in a similar situation the couple suggested no party be held after golfing.

QUEEN ATTENDS MANILOW CONCERT
One would think that chicken would be the only weakness Queen of Chicken Night Jean Poquette-Seidl would have. But their is another, one weakness that is even stronger than chicken. That one thing is more important to the Queen then anything else. The thing is not a thing at all but a person, Barry Manilow. The Queen along with 6 others attended the Barry Manilow Concert at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon on Friday night.

Our tickets were graciously provided to us by Scott and Judy Treml who purchased an upgrade with front row
seating. Scott who knew Judy wanted to attend the show badly purchased the seats as a romantic night out for Judy's birthday. Consequently the first seats she purchased near the rear of the Resch became available and were offered to us by Judy.

The romantic night out never came to fruition however when Judy saw how excited the Queen was and offered Scott's front row seat to Poquette-Seidl. When I arrived and was looking
for my seat, I found that I was sitting next to Scott who offered the comment "I don't know why I paid $350 and am sitting back here." Apparently unbeknownst to him his seat was relinquished to Poquette-Seidl who apparently ranked higher on Judy's seating chart.

That's all the news that is news, see ya.
