Base Ball Fans Gather to tailgate before the T-Rats baseball game
ccording to the records kept here at the KAMR the first T-Rat game attended as a group with the readers of The Newsletter was in 2005. This article from the archives describes the evening in detail even the disruption by the Axis of Evil, click here to read it. Not much has changed over the years with the event, last year the group tried sub sandwiches for the tailgating party and it was
greeted with an under enthusiastic response and the decision was made to return to cooking your favorite meat at last years party already for this year. And so it shall be the grills will be set up and cooking will begin upon arrival. A late change on the page to show who purchased tickets still showed the party set up with sub sandwiches however after it was pointed out at the Vanlanen 4 party I promptly change the page to reflect the current plan. Pleas be sure to pass that on to whomever is preparing for the game. As another note of interest, I will be sending in the money for the tickets in Monday's mail, so far few people have paid for their orders and I am looking for those people to get the money to me soon. Only about a third of the people have paid and I would like to get this taken care of soon. Stop by and give me a check or better cash for your tickets, you know who you are.
MEGHAN YOUNG GRADUATES FROM HIGH SCHOOL-FAMILY THROWS PARTY
Meghan Young, the eldest child and only daughter of Alissa Vanlanen and Kevin Young has graduated High School in their home town of Waupaca and her mom is throwing a party July 26th at their adequate city home, N1104 County Road E Waupaca, WI 54981. The home and party must be near water as people are encouraged to bring swimming gear and are invited to fish or boat as can be seen on the invitation. GOLF OUTING PLANNING UNDERWAY
Plans are underway to launch the family golf outing in August for this year. Alex Pickett and B-Rez have teamed up to plan the event and are suggesting two dates for mid August. Since the response last year was favorable to having the event at The Mid Valley Golf Course the planners will again use the same venue. The dates that the planners are suggesting are August 9 or August 16, both are available and should be within the window perfect weather. All rules of course will remain the same and the game will be best ball. Foursomes are encouraged. The date will be selected by popularity with the poll posted below. The poll will be up for two weeks, after which the date will be locked in and the signup page will be posted. Good luck, and vote for your favorite date.
