DAVE POQUETTE ANNOUNCES PLANS TO WED ETHEL
Dave Poquette revealed in a phone interview last week of plans to wed his female aquaintence known to many only as "Ethel". Ethel whose real name is Eunice visited the Green Bay area in November the day after the famous "Turkey Bowl" was held at Poquette Field. Eager for souvenours she combed the field looking for tid bits that may have been leftover from the yearly event. While the plans have not been finalized including the date, Poquette states that their wedding is contingent on another wedding in the family. In order not to usurp her daughters wedding Eunice is holding off until after her daughters wedding to marry Dave.

ANN PICKETT WEDS DAN LOCKWOOD CELEBRATION HELD
Friday January 7th Annie Pickett and Dan Lockwood were joined in matrimony at the Saint Peter and Paul Church in Green Bay. Just as with any corporation when it is formed the proper paper work was signed and filed upon the completion of the deal. Lockwood and Pickett had dated about five years and were engaged a good amount of time before the wedding.  A large celebration was held at the Rock Gardens located on the west side of Green Bay which also is connected to a Comfort Suites where many of the out of town guests spent the night. Entertainment was provided by a relative of the groom whose expertise was put to use in the art of DJ ing. He did a wonderful job and was able to fulfill most of the requests. The Lockwoods - Ann, Dan, and Daisy will reside in the Antigo area where they all are employed with the exception of Daisy who remains at home patiently awaiting the return of the newly weds.

MARY PAVLOV FINALLY ACCEPTED INTO MICK AND DEBBIE CLUB
After some forty years of her application being rejected, Mary Pavlov the former Mary Binder was accepted to the prestigious "Mick and Debbie Club". Pavlov who kept copies of every application tried altering answers to various questions every year as perhaps a means of entry to the tight circle. She had come the closest to acceptance in 1999 when a surprise visit to her domicile yielded a free "Cajun" dinner at a local upper scale restaurant in the Mobile area for club president Mick and his spousal unit Kat. Just when it looked she was going to make it and serious consideration was being given in the last minutes of the visit she revealed the "stash" of dried food and supplies exposing her Y2K paranoia. Noticing our gasps and obvious disapproval Pavlov immediately began to blame her Husband John who was absent at the time and off on a doctor call. Pavlov went on even further blaming him for the deep well drilled in their yard and the generator large enough to power a hospital located in their back yard of which we had not known about yet. Pavlov realizing she had ruined her chances for entry into the exclusive club withdrew and became somewhat incoherent and zombie like when we said our goodbyes. She had sensed it would be another five years before she had another chance to make an attempt to impress the gate keepers of the "Mick and Debbie Club". With a last ditch effort Pavlov decided to stand on her own and without the aid of her husband John made the trek to Green Bay hoping to make one last appeal to the powers that be to gain acceptance to the limited membership club. Her obvious desire and natural charm along with the absence of any paranoia were enough to tip the scales in her favor and both Mick and Debbie invited her into the upscale social group. The group which at the height of it's popularity met semi weekly now meets semi yearly if luck works in it's favor. While Pavlov finally may have struck pay dirt in membership there may be few meetings left in the group with it's members busy and unable to find common ground and time for meetings.

DICK POQUETTE PASSES UP 5TH CAMPER
Dick Poquette who already has three functional campers and another that needs some repair rejected a deal on another camper to add to his fleet. Poquette who has been collecting campers this last year admits that he hates camping and only does it to please his wife Cleen who keeps the newest one in the fleet for herself. But while he hates the activity he does maintain all of the fleet and is able to add to it in a moments notice. When his collection is finished he hopes to have an individual camper for each member of his family. Later when his grandson Riker is a couple years older he will be awarded a small aluminum pull behind for his birthday. That's all the news that is news, see ya.
